The purpose of this website is to bring meaningful information to the residents of Croton Township. We will do this by providing information such as: township ordinance book, meeting agendas, key government contacts, local business information, and other pertinent information.
Croton Township is located in Newaygo County. According to the United States Census Bureau, Croton has a total area of 94.3 km 2 88.2km2of it is land and 6.0 km2 of it is water. The total area is 6.38% water.
NEW UPDATE:
Big Prairie and
Croton Townships will be holding a special public hearing on
August 27, 2008, at 7 p.m. at the new Croton Township Fire
Station in the Training Room. The subject matter to be
discussed will be a proposal to euthanize swans on the Croton
Pond and Little Muskegon River. This proposal was presented to
the townships, and both boards wish to hear local residents on
this issue.
