Summer 2024 tax bills have been mailed.  If you do not have your bill, please contact us here or use the following methods to contact the Treasurer to obtain a copy and to ensure we have the correct mailing address on file.

Important note to Tax Payment Services and Title Companies:  The fastest way  way to get copies of tax bills and answers to questions that cannot be answered on the BS&A website portal is to email Kim Edwards at kedwards@crotontownship.org.

Property Assessment Questions
​Questions about property assessments, hardship exemptions, PRE exemptions, or veteran’s exemptions must be directed to the Assessor's office.  Please call the Assessor Jackie Thompson at 231-652-4301 during Township office hours on Wednesdays from 9am – 12 pm or at 231-245-1410 during non-office hours.

For Township Zoning, Cemetery, Transfer Station and all Township question except taxes, please call the main line at 231-652-4301.

3 Easy Ways to Pay
Online

We are now accepting property tax payments online using your major credit card.  The Township has partnered with Allpaid, a leader in the processing of tax payments online.  This process is fast, secure and convenient!  

Here's how:

1. First, look up the total amount due using the BS&A Portal button below:

2. Record your amount due and your parcel number.  You'll need this information for the AllPaid website.

 

3. Click the icon below or scan the QR Code to make the payment online using the GovPayNet Service. Enter your parcel number for your parcel ID. The PLC# for Croton Township is 4226.

Mail

As always, you may mail in your payment to the Township.  Please send the payment stub (bottom portion of the tax bill) along with your check (payable to Croton Township) to:

In Person

You may pay your taxes in person on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM.  If you are coming from far away, please call beforehand to ensure the Treasurer is available on the day you are planning to visit.  If you visit outside of our office hours, you may drop your payment in our drop box conveniently located on the front of the Township Hall.
